Meet the Team

Tony Massarella FCA BAHons

Tony Massarella has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1974.

His experience has centred on helping family businesses to thrive and make the best of their resources.

He places great emphasis on listening to clients’ aspirations, ideas and plans and gives guidance on the development of their business strategies.

He also helps clients to negotiate the maze of regulations surrounding accounts and taxation such as PAYE, VAT, and self-assessment for individuals and companies.

Lynne Lewis MAAT

Lynne has worked with Tony Massarella for about 35 years, and we still have clients from all those years ago, (we consider them as friends now rather than clients).

She qualified as a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 1991 and has been Company Secretary and Office Manager since the formation of the company.

She has previously been self-employed and can fully empathise and understand what our clients are going through. She has also helped her partner run a successful landscaping business.

Amy Radford MACCA

Amy joined the firm in October 2012 where she continued her studies and completed her ACCA qualification. Amy is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is now working towards her Accountancy Practicing Certificate. Her focus is to carry on the commitment and dedication that our clients have come to expect.

Her main responsibilities are preparing Accounts, Personal and Company Tax Returns, Personal/Business Planning and Advice and overseeing the team here in the office.

Amy is enjoying the early years of her little boy and spends most of her spare time on family walks with the dog in tow.

Elaine Marriott

Elaine joined the firm in 1996 from the private sector but during the years has developed a wide range of knowledge and is qualified by experience. Her clients range from Limited Companies to Sole Traders with the occasional Working Men’s Club thrown in.

Elaine enjoys spending time with her family (when she is not travelling abroad that is).

Eileen Nolan

Eileen joined BF&SL in 2014 after working as a Finance Manager of a Social Care Company in Bradford for 10 years.

Her main responsibility within the Team is Payroll but she also has a group of Clients for whom she prepares Book-keeping, VAT returns, Accounts and Tax Returns along with General Office Duties.

Eileen enjoys walking in the Dales and completes the Three Peaks Challenge annually. She also enjoys ballroom dancing and puzzles of any nature especially Treasure Trails.

Janet Evans

Although Janet was born in Leeds she has spent most of her life in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Whilst there she qualified as an HR Manager (MIPMZ), Bookkeeper and Peer Educator. She also holds a Diploma in Practical Psychology. Janet joined us in October 2012 as a Trainee Accounting technician and is currently studying towards the AAT Accounting qualification which she is hoping to complete by the end of 2017. She prepares Book-keeping, Accounts, VAT Returns, and Tax Returns for her clients.

Janet enjoys reading and when she is not studying continues to expand her knowledge on psychology and mind management.
